Over the course of three years, dozens of volunteers have enthusiastically worked to create a nurturing garden space where we build a sense of community, provide gardening lessons for children and adults, and grow nutritious, organic produce while beautifying our town. Our garden now includes:

  • 117 leased beds

  • 6 ADA beds

  • 5 Food Bank donation beds

  • Greenhouse and work area

  • 2 garden sheds

  • Beehive enclosure with 3-4 hives

  • 6 compost bins

  • Shaded pavilion and demonstration kitchen

We are located adjacent to the Town Library and Museum.

Rent a raised bed and grow

your own food today!

Did you ever wonder if you could grow vegetables in Arizona? Here is your opportunity to grow vegetables and flowers and have some fun in the process.  If you like to garden or want to grow food for you and your family, this is your chance. Our raised garden beds are ready to start your adventure.

The garden beds are 4’x10’ and have been constructed of redwood. Your garden bed rental is for one calendar year, which covers 3 growing seasons.  Our garden beds come with drip watering supplies and timer, shade cloth and supports, and are filled with organic soil.

Our bed rental fees are collected to offset the cost of maintenance, water, common areas, and shared equipment. Our rental price are: $100 annually for a 4’x10’x12” bed and $200 annually for a 4'x10'x24" bed.  There is a $25 discount when renting multiple beds. One membership is included with each garden bed rental.

All members will be required to sign a FHCG Membership Agreement which outlines the garden rules.  If renting a bed, the rental fee must be paid and all gardeners must complete a Membership Agreement before a bed number can be assigned.

Thank you  gardeners, we look forward to seeing you in the garden. Please complete this renewal form, the Membership Agreement and submit the payment.
